There were lots of #Smallmouth caught this day too but this is all about the #Esox.

Sight Fishing for Smallmouth Bass when I saw this swim up 5' or 6' away

Out for a Solo fish when I saw this Dinosaur, I flipped my #Crankbait just pat it it the Fight was on, I had it in the net twice and both times it flipped out, it's nose and tail was on the rim and I thought it was gone, good thing I was using 17lb mono not the 10lb I was using earlier, I definitely needed to retie after I finally kept it in the net lol,

When the Grade 7/8 class heard about the Grade 5/6 classes Fishing Trip they wanted in

I was contacted asking if they could have the contact so they could book the fishing equipment that the other class used, which town it came from, I said sure but the equipment is all mine that I set up to take Classes #Fishing that raised the #ChinookSalmon for the #SchoolSalmonHatchery Program lol, so I gave them some dates that I was available and these are a few #fish that were caught, the pond has #BrookTrout #BrownTrout and #RainbowTrout stocked it it for Kids 16yr old and under to fish for. It was a huge success with a few student catching there first fish ever. What an AWESOME way to give back to the community.

This is one way to get Kids Hooked on Fishing

School Salmon Hatchery Program, Scott's class received #Chinook #Salmon eggs in the fall and took care of them as they hatched, started feeding and grew until they released them into the #SaugeenRiver in May of last year, then they went back to the Port Elgin #SalmonHatchery for a quick tour as it was empty by this time of the year and then they #Fished  for #BrookTrout #BrownTrout and #RainbowTrout in the town pond behind the Hatchery, It was a very exciting day and I was glad to be a part of it.
