Had a split day 10 until 4:20, 4:30 to about 7pm

Bonnie and I targeted #Panfish catching some nice #Pumpkinseed and #Bluegill but not many picture's taken and Scott and I targeted #Crappie and he caught a nice #Smallie on a panfish jig, my #Largie wasn't too bad either.

Time for the Forest City Bassmaster Virtual Fall Tourney

I missed a couple nice ones that shook off close to the boat, they sure like to jump and had some strong pulls too and made it a #MultiSpecies day and took the #Walleye home for Bill and dropped it off on the way home.

Another AWESOME Panfish Day with a few Surprise Catches of Walleye and Pike on Panfish Jigs with 4 lb Mono

I'll never complain about catching 3 #Walleye and a 35" #Pike on 4lb test while #Fishing for #Panfish, there were some nice size #Pumkinseed #BlueGill caught between the drop's for the Walleye and Pike on the same small spot with about 10 #MultiSpecies being caught in about an hour AWESOME flurry,

KW Musky Club holds the KW Rocks Musky Outing

#KWRocks weekend was KW Musky Club’s fall outing on Thanksgiving Weekend, 4 of us planned to arrive on Thursday and we were at Lauzon East by 3 pm unpacked quickly and headed out on Lauzon Lake to explore for our first time as none of us have been there before. We made it out to the main lake but just checked out the first couple bays and around the first few islands and we were back to camp just before dark. After having pre made chili warmed up we just relaxed in the very comfortable cottage and it was a bit of an early night. We decided to have a quick breakfast with bagels being toasted with my favorite Peanut butter and Jam, they packed a sandwich and we headed for the lake, we ran around the lake fishing our way to the west end and to the north and south sides checking out as much as we could, I had a bunch of Smallmouth with one over 20” and Pete caught a Musky around 30” before heading back in for 7pm, Friday night to Sunday breakfast were included as the club had a chef come up and cook and that was an AWESOME idea, we arrived with chairs from our cottage to a tarped area we were eating in behind one of the cottages, Spaghetti and Garlic Bread were on the menu and was very good, after talking for a while we were off to the cottage to relax and talk about what we found and who was fishing with who, Pete and I fished Thursday and Friday and Dave and Bonnie did also, Saturday it was Bonnie and I and Dave and Pete, after stopping at a couple areas on the way to the main lake I caught my first Musky about 9am and missed a Smallie plus we had a couple other musky touch our baits and saw them, so we headed to a lot more areas seeing a few more musky and having a few more taps on the #Spinnerbait blades, we arrived were Pete caught his on Friday and I was trying to get Bonnie onto a fish and as we were drifting along I see a nice Musky staring at my Trolling motor moving it’s fins and it went under the boat then swam away, we made a few casts and decided to leave the area and come back later, we fished areas around there that we haven’t fish yet, after a couple hours we head back and changed up what we were throwing, I had the back of the boat towards shore as we approached the area so Bonnie could get the first casts and I long bomb a cast and something hammered my blades again lol, when we left we headed back to the area I caught mine and about 40’ from where I caught mine I caught another just over 30” and had another follow not far away from that, we decide to expand on this area with another tap and with a couple more spots to go on the way home we decided to drift the same area again and the boat drifted into 3’ of water and Bonnie tossed out to about 12’ I just flipped out the side into about 5’ of water and as It’s getting close to the boat I see another open it’s mouth and I holler get the net, Bonnie drops her pole and grabs the net and after it’s in the net she goes to lift it and the Spinnerbait is caught in the net and the weight of the musky is on one side it flips and the body goes into the water and I dive to grab the leader and gill the 41” musky and slide it into the boat shaking lol, we get a measurement and a quick picture before watching it swim away for someone else to catch, possibly us next year. All my fish Pike, Smallmouth and Musky were caught on one Blackfly Lures Spinnerbait Big Bass’Tard Orange/Black, there was a Prize table and I picked a really awesome Hose Bait, Dave caught a Musky trolling on Saturday also just over 25”, there were 7 Musky caught in the outing and the Bass Boat Guys caught 5 of them so we were very happy, my first outing couldn’t have been better, well it could’ve I lost out on the big fish and the trophy by about 3”, we had a blast and hopefully can make it back next year, I won’t tell you how much it cost because you’ll all be made you didn’t sign up.
