GHBA clubbie Yesterday on Cook's Bay

Very tough for Gordo & I, after a hiccup 1st thing in the morning we were ready to start fishing about 8:30 & our 1st area was full of rock bass, so we moved to the rivers mouth & tried some flipp'n around the grass & Frogs around the lily pads, the river was very muddy after the storm we had the night before, than we moved to the shore line weeds & continued to catch rock bass with a bunch of Perch & Sunfish before moving deeper 8' to 10' using spinnerbaits, I caught a Largie 1.77 lbs also tried crankbaits, flipp'n jigs & jerkbaits, losing 1 bass on a Crankbait & back to catching everything but Bass & through in 1 Pike also. It was a good day on the water we just couldn't find the bass no matter where we tried, better luck next time lol. Congrats to all the winners. Gordo was getting a selfie so I thought I'd take a picture of him that's how our day went. At least the #Ardent Rods & Reels worked great. Tight Lines Richard
