Second day of holidays was a success

Sara booked a day of fishing with her Dad for a late birthday gift and it was a beautiful day, there were a few #Pike and #Smallmouth #Bass caught with a bunch hitting the #Spinnerbait blades or jumping and getting off but everyone caught fish and tried a bunch of baits. Lots of smiles and laughs throughout the day. As we arrived we could tell it was going to be busy as there was a Tournament going on with lots of boats already in the water.

Sara's second Pike ever

This is for all the Pike that bit me off or just hammered my Blades lol

When these cold fronts move in you really need to work to find them and get them to bite lol

Started out looking for #Panfish #Crappie and caught #Pike on the small jigs which is always fun. I switched over to #Flippn and caught a nice few with some smaller ones mixed in. Then Bonnie switched over to a #SwimJig and caught a nice #Largemouth as well, we were happy with the results for the few hours we were out, found a school of crappie the last half hour we were there and ended with a flurry of 18 to 20 before heading home.

We thought this was going to be a Perch but nope lol

Had a day planned but with the rain and temperature drop postponed the trip

Had a family with 2 young kids booked to fish today so I headed out early and had rain as I left home then it quit part way to the lake, it looked like it might rain so I put on my FXR Rain Suit and moved around looking for #Panfish and then the sky opened up and it rained pretty good so I sent message saying it's raining pretty good and said I'm fishing but it is cool out and I'm ok if they want to book for another day, a little while later then cancelled so I switched everything up and went after some #Largemouth #Bass and had a few #Pike bite off my #FlippnJigs before switching to 25lb Flouro and there was no more bite off's. I tried a bunch of baits but they seemed to want the Jig and #TexasRigs over #Spinnerbaits #Chatterbaits and #SwimJigs the water temperature has droppedfrom 83.7 to 69.5  degrees in about a week and a half lol I thought it was summer time still so much for global warming. Back to work tomorrow should be back on the water again Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and maybe even Sunday, Monday and Tuesday holidays are coming soon.

Last trip with Richard Sims before his holidays ended

Another Great Day in the water and another #MultiSpecies #Largemouth #Smallmouth #Bass #Pike #Esox #Pumpkinseed #Crappie in the 3 days we fished together we caught 9 different #Species with a variety of techniques putting fish in the boat all 3 days. Great meeting Richard and Family and even teaching each other a few things. Until next Time Tight Lines 🎣 

I've had a few good days on the water lately

We caught a few different species with a couple good ones too on #BladeBaits #TexasRigs #MuscleBackHawgHunter #FlippnJigs #MuscleBackCraw Crappie Jigs and Small Plastics and Blade Baits, started about 1pm until after dark.

Helping get the Sims Family into some Panfish before switching over to Bass/Pike

The day started chasing some #Panfish with #Perch #Bluegill #Pumpkinseed, a #RockBass and lots of #Crappie being caught before Willow needed a sleep so they headed back to the cottage and Richard stayed and we finished off the day with a few nice #Smallmouth and #Largemouth #Bass and I was bit off a couple times before catching one #Pike Richard caught a couple with one over 32". The weather started out threatening to rain but was Cloudy and Windy and ended up being Sunny and Windy lol. We covered pretty much the whole lake and part of it a second time with fish mostly being caught in deeper water, water temp was about 78 today and Friday it was 83 degrees. It ended up being an AWESOME Day and help make some Great Memories with Willows first boat ride and she was all SMILES.
