Odie joined me for an afternoon/evening on the water

It was a little slow yesterday looking for Panfish, Bass and Pike shallow and deep, we found the Crappie in about 12' of water later in the day, Largemouth Bass in very shallow and no Pike interested, he took a couple dozen Crappie home to eat.

Chris and I met at the dock just after 1 pm and ended the night about 10pm

Water temperature is still dropping 64-66 degrees and the crappie are starting to school up a bit, after catching about 50 Crappie and had a bunch of Bluegill mixed in with them too. Chris started out with a spinning outfit and a #Chatterbait and switched over to a bait casting outfit with a #SwimJig for quite a while then a #HeavyDropShot before finishing off with a #Buzzbait to end the night and he did pretty good for not really using a #Baitcaster much before this or at least without much success before last night, there were a few backlashes but nothing I couldn't get out with a few minutes and a flashlight lol. Someone was going to have a few good meals of Crappie to show for the afternoon/evening on the water.
Until next time Tight Lines 🎣

A good size #Crappie

Nice size Rockbass

This was a monster lol and there are school's of them around the lake, looks like it is a Successful Year class

Helping get the Sims Family into some Panfish before switching over to Bass/Pike

The day started chasing some #Panfish with #Perch #Bluegill #Pumpkinseed, a #RockBass and lots of #Crappie being caught before Willow needed a sleep so they headed back to the cottage and Richard stayed and we finished off the day with a few nice #Smallmouth and #Largemouth #Bass and I was bit off a couple times before catching one #Pike Richard caught a couple with one over 32". The weather started out threatening to rain but was Cloudy and Windy and ended up being Sunny and Windy lol. We covered pretty much the whole lake and part of it a second time with fish mostly being caught in deeper water, water temp was about 78 today and Friday it was 83 degrees. It ended up being an AWESOME Day and help make some Great Memories with Willows first boat ride and she was all SMILES.

A few Multi Species pictures from earlier in the year

Bass are what I choose to target when they are in season but these and others are a lot of FUN throughout the year.
