Sarnia Walleye trip put 2 in the boat in an afternoon
Took a trip for the Walleye in Lake Huron with Randy in his boat and we bumped into Matt from School's Out Fishing Charters and he gave us a few of his top producers to try. We ended up catching 2 and loosing 2 more each, it was pretty windy with some nice rollers coming in and our first time down there in one of our boats. We were happy to be out and learn a bit about drifting in pretty quick water and caught more than some of the guys we talked too but Matt ended up with 24 Walleye for the crew he took out not too bad for an afternoon of fishing. I joined Matt last year to share the day on his boat with another guy that wanted to share the cost and we really enjoyed the day on the water catching over 18 Walleye and we took our limit home. If you're looking to get out to catch some Walleye and learn how he does it checkout Matt's website at: https://www.schoolsoutfishingcharters.ca/

Another Panfish day with lots of wind
Blade Baits did it's job the other day, but all I could trick into eating were Panfish, lots of Crappie, Perch and a few Pumpkinseeds and the big ones took the day off lol. I took sometime to drive around mapping and looking for schools and trying to find the solo fish hoping they'd be the bigger ones.

The weather is holding on pretty good this year
Tuesday was another beautiful multi species day out in the lake with Smallmouth Bass, lots of Crappie, Perch and Rockbass all caught from 18' to 51' of water, they were even on the bottom in 51' of water. The Smallies came on a Tokyo Rig with an Adrenaline Craw and the rest were all caught on a Blade Baits everything was released to be caught another day.

Cloudy and Sunny with a few good wind gusts
The Smallies are starting to show up at the wintering hole. Blade Baits and Football Head Swammers or Adrenaline Craws normally work when they're set up. We found a few nice schools if Crappie as well but no pictures were taken 8-10" was the biggest caught, hoping to get out a couple more times over the next couple weeks.

Found a few Smallies and a bunch of Crappie
First Smallmouth in the boat 7 minutes after I started on a Football Jig with an Adrenaline Craw and a bunch of schools of Crappie scattered around the lake that were from 10' to 40' of water and everywhere in between. The Blade Bait helped put a few Crappie in the boat, next time I'll try some Crappie Jigs as well. I even marked a bunch of Fish down to 50' of water on the bottom. I might have to checkout what they are the next time out if there is another this year. Sounds like we could get snow Sunday but hopefully it doesn't stay it's way to early for that.

Lots of wind but a little warmer today
Panfish plastics and Blade Baits helped put the Crappie in the boat the last 2 days, I found a few nice schools and caught lots but 9" was as big as they got. I tried a bit for Bass and Pike before getting a call to say I needed to take some stuff to Bill in the London Hospital, he's in over night for observation after he had a reaction after they started his treatment, he's stable now and hopefully home tomorrow late morning or after lunch.
