Monday was a nice day to be in the he water catching a few of these

I had Bonnie out for a couple hours on Monday morning fishing and we mostly targeted Panfish and she caught 6 different species before she had to get home for a afternoon commitment and I stayed for the afternoon/evening mapping and catching a few fish as well. There were lots of techniques used to help get these in the boat.

Kingston Mills wasn't that busy when we visited

We didn't find anything big but we did catch some numbers of Panfish from Crappie, Rockbass, Sunfish and Perch, everything was caught on Small Plastics on a jig and a bit of scent to help them holding on a bit longer to get the hook set. Who says you can't be all dressed up to go fishing lol.

Youth Fishing League FUN night

Someone was happy they showed up for the FUN night the week after the League was finished. These all came right off the docks and mostly one dock and there were a lot more smaller ones too.

Out Panfish Fishing and look what showed up Mr Bass

It's always nice to catch something bigger than Panfish when that's what you're targeting. Bonnie likes catching lots of Panfish but she never turns down a nice Bass when they slip up lol. Caught and released to be caught another day. Small Jigs and Plastic work on everything so it's no surprise when a Bass gets caught on a hot and pressured day.

All the way from Sweden And Grandma booked him a Fishing Trip

We had 3 hours on the lake and there were 6 different species caught and they were all a first, so that would be 6 Personnel Bests. First cast was a Smallmouth 1 day too soon and all the rest were Panfish, Crappie, Perch, Bluegill, Pumpkinseed and Rockbass Mom and Son were both very happy. Next trip will be for Bass and Pike he hopes. First time to Canada so they have a busy schedule.

Thursday was the last Senior Youth Fishing League night at Silver Lake

One of the fish caught on the last night of the Seniors Youth Fishing League at Silver Lake and it was a tank, there were a lot of nice fish caught. If you have a chance sign up for a local League there are close to 20 in Ontario with 4 in my area. My next one will be at Chesley Lake starting July 5 for 5 Sunday in a row, Juniors 12:30 - 2:30 and Seniors 3:30 - 5:30.

Wednesday was another long day but an AWESOME Day too

This was our last day on the lake and it was a great one, Dave and Bonnie left after lunch and Pete and I stuck around to fish until about 9pm and loaded the boat and started to pack everything so we could leave early on Thursday morning. Swammers, Spinnerbaits helped put most of the fish in the boat this week with a bit of Flipp'n and Heavy Drop Shotting as well.
