A great evening 4 hours & about 40 Smallies

One of the better days that I've had in a while & likely one of Mitch's best ever, lots of 18" & 19" smallies with a few 20", we covered lots of water & Mitch caught most of his on Spinnerbaits, mine came on 2 different Spinnerbaits, 3 Crankbaits, Bassmagnet Tubes & Drop Shotting Slammers, there was a little bit of thunder just as we got out, then enough rain that we put the rain coats on for about 3/4 of an hour, a little sprinkle as we were loading the boat with rain & Sheet lightning on the way home perfect night.
Tight Lines.

Dave's 1st trip out fishing this year & it's the middle of August

Bassmagnet tube jigs worked for a while & then Drop Shotting Slammers took over & helped make our day a success, we ended up with 15 or 20 Smallies about 14" to 19.5" not bad for a Sunday afternoon. We even had a couple double headers, it was nice to be able to bring 1 to the boat & have 3 more with it & see Dave drop a Tube in & catch one of them. Hopefully his Golf slows down & his Fishing picks up.

A nice surprise & it came on a Bassmagnets Tube Jig.

Started off picking up Robbie & then headed to Baie Du Dore & Bruce A, things started with a hit on a Spinner bait a big jump from a Smallie & a long distance release, a couple more were able to get off on the Spinnerbaits & Crankbaits in the Bay them we headed to Bruce A & the out flow, the water was moving very quick & we ended up getting a few nice Smallies on Bassmagnet Tubes from 3 to 4.1 lbs. After a few meesed up reels & 1 broken Rod we were done at 18:00 & headed for home, until next time
