School Hatchery Tour and Fishing Trip with 26 Kids

I drove to Seaforth School to pick up the #BrownTrout that they've had since January and helped take care of them and took them to the Kincardine Trout Hatchery to grow until fall before they'll be released in Lake Huron. After the #HatcheryTour the Class headed to Silver Lake to fish until they had to leave to make it back to school before the buses were to leave to take the students home. There were a bunch of students that said this was the best trip ever and the staff and volunteers Thanked Me for organizing the trip as the kids really enjoyed it. The last day of school they have a bit of say what they get to do most of them said they wanted to go fishing in Seaforth lol, hearing that really warmed my heart, one of the girls caught 10 fish lots of #Panfish were caught and released, #Crappie #Bluegill #Pumpkinseed #Perch #Rockbass one out of season #Largemouth released quickly and one of the students had a #Smallmouth on but it was long distance released as it jumped and shook off. #TakeAKidFishing #TakeAFamilyFishing #KeepCanadaFishing #TakeAClassFishing
