This first Pike was a mess what do you think happened to it

I wonder if an Eagle or Osprey had it but it was able to escape, marks on both sides and could be claw marks? the blood was still dripping when it was lifted out of the water, swam away quickly and looked like it was healthy enough, there were a few healthy looking #Pike #Smallmouth and #Bowfin caught and released to grow bigger so other can have a chance to catch them, #LetThemGoLetThemGrow #CatchAndRelease #Conservation #Environment #Spinnerbaits #InLineSpinners #PikeBites #BigBassTards
